The inspiration for Gran Luchito came from founder and El Capitan Fergus. He travelled around vibrant and colourful Mexico on a trip of a lifetime and was blown away by the authentic flavours and ingredients of the food he enjoyed.

Fergus decided to create a brand that would deliver the authentic taste of Mexico.

At first, he only sold Gran Luchito at the weekend from a stall in East London’s Maltby Street Market.

Buoyed by the enthusiasm of early buyers, Fergus decided to make it his full-time vocation and passion.
